now for the photos i took for the last 2 days of my korea trip. lol. the rest of the photos are in my sister's laptop. and she's not back from korea yet. so....no choice. XD and these are really BIG files!
we toured insa-dong. insa-dong is in fact like a culture or arts street where there are a lot of art crafts and art galleries around the street. lol. then this is one of the shopping malls. I forgot what's it's called. =X

these pictures are on the walls in the toilets in the shopping mall.

it's full of art. lol. and the price of the art crafts are not cheap either.
then we went to see the demonstration of the traditional korean wedding. i wanted to video thewhole process, but i realised i didn't pressed record. it was pretty stupid. and in the end, i took pictures of the kindergarten kids who were also there watching. it was quite fun looking at them. it was pretty warm then.
one of the wedding process was to give out their traditional cakes and cookies to family and friends around. lol. and they started giving the cookies to the audience watching, mainly the kids. =D
it was so warm and hot that the teacher decided to put a sweater over the student's head! lol. so cute. he's the same kid above eating the cookie.

in fact i didn't like taking pictures then as it was very warm and hot and sharp shadows were casted on the faces. but oh wells. i had no choice.
then we went to coex mall (did i remember correctly?). ok it's some shopping mall. we went to buy stationery, like mechanical pencils, planner and highlighters. the things there were quite cute. so tempting. ^.^

then we went burger king to eat ice cream, for 500 won (est. $0.85). full of coconut milk. lol. the spoon wasvery interesting. it was not the normal plastic spoon. it was a paper spoon that u have to fold to form it as above. interesting right?

the most common modes of transportation will be the taxi, bus and trains. but trains will be the one taht most people take as it is fast and much much cheaper than taxis. taking a taxi cost a bomb, especially in korea as korea is quite big. 1 trip in the same city takes at least 1 hour sometimes. in singapore we have 3 lines for mrt. in seoul, they have near to 10 lines! it was quite confusing when you first take it. lol. the picture above is line 5. and they have specific seats for senior citizens, disabled and pregnant women. and these seats nobody else can sit. unlike singapore where we do not care. lol.

my father on the train. lol.
ok. next the wedding. yes, we took the train to the church. it took us around 1 hour.

my sister was invited to speak and send her greetings. lol. right there holding the mic.

then we went to the primitive museum. something on the way of life of the primitive people. there i saw ostriches. and we saw the ostrich lay an egg. too bad, i didn't manage to capture that scene down.

dandelions are quite common in korea.
then we went to my sister's pen pal's house for dinner.

this is the cucumber kimchi my sister made.

this is in fact how my father communicated with my sister's pen pal's father. by writing. lol. oh wells. i guess this is the end of this blog entry. quite long. lol. so tiring! now i have to study!!!!!! =X

ok. in fact now i'm still in korea, seoul. i just toured seoul and mt sorak and some other outskirts of seoul for the past 5 days. the tour guide was quite irritating and performed pretty poorly. she treated those who bought a lot from the places she earned commission from much better than the rest, which was us. my parents weren't very impressed by her. in fact they are not very happy on his trip. oh wells. now it's over. we are going to my sister's pen pal's wedding tomorrow. so, forget about the unhappy things. next time i shall blog when i have my photos uploaded. =D signing off!
